North City Democrats Select Replacement For MO Rep. El-Amin (FOX 2 News St. Louis)
After Missouri State Representative Talibdin (T.D.) El-Amin pleaded guilty to federal bribery charges, Democratic Committee Members in north St. Louis selected his replacement Saturday. Pending approval from the Governor, attorney Hope Whitehead, will serve the rest of T.D. El-Amin’s term. El-Amin awaits sentencing next month. He faces up to two years in prison.
